2026 CAAP Conference!
Join us October 26–29, 2026, at the Eden Resort & Suites in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for four days of learning, collaboration, and connection. The conference begins with pre-conference opportunities, followed by two full conference days featuring a keynote, panel discussion, breakout sessions, practical resources, networking, and the CAAPtivating Excellence Awards.

Join us for the 2026 CBO Convening!
Mark your calendars for CAAP’s upcoming CBO Convening, a free virtual event taking place on December 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This event is open to community-based organizations and healthcare partners using PA Navigate. During this year's convening, we will reflect on the progress made over the past year, updates on new opportunities, in addition to time for networking, sharing best practices, and learning from peers. We want to hear from you!

Community Action Association of Pennsylvania or CAAP, has partnered with Department of Human Services to serve as the community engagement team to assist Community Based Organizations in onboarding and utilizing the PA Navigate platform.
About US
We are the anti-poverty authority. The Community Action network is comprised of over 1000 independent non-profit and public organizations covering every county in the United States.
Here in Pennsylvania, Community Action Association represents 42 Community Action Agencies across the Commonwealth. Each Community Action agency receives direct federal funds from the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). Each agency is uniquely addressing the Social Determinants of Health through various programming, informed by regular Community Needs Assessments, to understand the needs of those most vulnerable in every community. While the approaches and composition of programming is unique by Agency, all are unified on ensuring the health-related social needs of their customers are being met.
At CAAP we specialize in providing training and technical assistance and work as the voice for advocacy on all things poverty in Pennsylvania.
